The 2025 National Foster & Kinship Care Conference was Australia’s leading event dedicated to supporting, educating and empowering foster and kinship carers.

Held in Sydney from 28 to 30 November, the conference explored the theme Empowering Carers to Transform Lives. Delegates gained valuable insights from leading experts, participated in practical workshops and connected with carers from across the country to share experiences and best practices.

With a strong focus on wellbeing, recovery and healing through health and therapeutic services, the conference addressed the specific needs of carers and children, particularly in relation to therapeutic parenting and long-term outcomes for children and young people in care.
