Specialist Agencies
Key Assets
Key Assets South Australia provides specialist therapeutic long-term placements for children and young people.
Our services is built on a foundation of providing intensive supports to carers and their families in order to equip them to enable them to provide good, safe and consistent care to the children and young people they are care. We do this by recruiting carers who have the time and the space to meet the children’s short and long-term needs. We also recruit and support respite carers who can provide the long-term carers with a well-deserved break.

Today this commitment underpins the 68 community services we deliver in 35 sites across the Catholic Archdiocese of Adelaide, in metropolitan and regional South Australia. Centacare operates within a strong ethical framework informed by the values and principles of Catholic Social Teaching.
We respond with skill, compassion and tenacity to each of the more than 30,000 people we see annually through our disability, homelessness, domestic violence, children’s, relationship support, youth, community, training and intervention services. At Centacare, we believe for justice to be upheld, we must become compassionate voices in action for all.

Life Without Barriers
For us relationships come first. It’s more than just working together, it’s understanding one another, making lasting connections and building trust. We help clients to believe in themselves again. Our relationships are strong and enduring. We also know the importance of imagination and what works but we are always open to new ways of doing things – from our clients, from team members. And we do so openly and willingly.
We are courageous and we stand up for what we believe in. We are people with strong opinions on what’s right for our clients and communities in which we operate. WAe speak up on behalf of our clients and encourage them to have the confidence to speak up for themselves.
We are respectful of others’ viewpoints and try to see the world from the perspective of others.
We respond to appropriately and promptly to individual and community needs and we are not afraid to get engaged and ‘get our hands dirty’ in order to find a solution.
We work together to deliver our services through demonstrating our values.
