When and where is the conference taking place?
The conference will be held at Club Central Hurstville, located at 2 Crofts Ave, Hurstville NSW. The timings currently run as follows (and are subject to slight changes):
- Friday 28 November – (Registration from 8.45am) Program Runs: 9:25am to 4:40pm
- Saturday 29 November – (Registration from 9am) Program Runs: 9:30am to 4:40pm
- Sunday 30 November – (Registration from 9am) Program Runs: 9:30am to approx. 3:15pm
The Gala Dinner (separate optional ticket) is 28 November from 6pm

Are there tickets available for attending only part of the conference?
While you’re welcome to come and go during the conference, single day or reduced attendance tickets are not currently available. All conference tickets cover the full three days.

What does my conference ticket include?
Each conference ticket includes access to all keynote presentations, panel sessions and a selection of breakout workshops streams across the three-day program. Morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea are provided on Friday and Saturday, while Sunday includes morning tea and lunch. Delegates will also receive a program and the opportunity to select breakout sessions once registration opens.

Is the conference open to children or attendees under 18?
Due to the nature of the content and discussions, conference attendance is limited to those 18 years and older. We appreciate your understanding. Please check the ticket terms for information regarding young children attending with a carer or contact the team for assistance with specific questions.

Has early bird registration closed?
Early bird registrations have now closed. however, tickets can still be purchased at the current rate at Purchase Standard Tickets

Can I pre-register for workshops or breakout sessions?
There is no pre-registration for workshops or breakout sessions. Attendance will be on a first-come, first-served basis on the day. Plenary sessions do not require pre-registration and are open to all delegates.

Can I get a refund if I cancel my registration?
Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to: conferences@adoptchange.org.au. Refunds may be granted in exceptional circumstances at the discretion of the event organisers and impact of costs already incurred.

Can I transfer or share my ticket with someone else?
If your ticket is issued with your name on it, it cannot be provided to another person. If you are a company or individual needing to provide your ticket to a different name, please contact the conference team at least one week prior to the event to arrange. Please submit this request in writing to: conferences@adoptchange.org.au

What is the dress code for the conference?
The Conference is being held in a venue with a dress code, we ask you to review the following: Members and their guests are asked to present themselves in a neat and tidy manner at all times.
The following are not acceptable at Club Central:
- Dirty/soiled/torn clothing and footwear (small fashionable tears in jeans permitted subject to management approval)
- Overalls
- T-shirts with political, offensive or inappropriate slogans, logos or images
- Singlet’s/sleeveless shirts (male) or revealing clothing (female)
- Motorcycle club colours (see list at reception)
- Gym/training apparel including lycra shorts/leotards etc.
- Hats, scarves, bandanas or any other headwear (excluding dress hats on special occasions approved by management)
- Tracksuits (tracksuits must be of a high quality) after 8pm
- Rubber thongs
Venue management reserves the right to refuse entry to any patron who, in its opinion, is not suitably attired.
Accommodation & Parking Details

Is parking available at the venue, and can I reserve a space?
Yes, Club Central Hurstville offers underground parking with direct lift access to the conference level. There are 209 car parking spaces available, but parking is unreserved and offered on a first come, first served basis.
Parking is free for Club Central members and $10 per day for visitors.

Will the venue have wheelchair access?
Yes, Club Central Hurstville is fully wheelchair accessible, with lifts and accessible bathrooms throughout the venue. The Conference Hall is located on Level 3 and is accessible via lift.

I have medical, mobility, or other accessibility requirements. How can I notify the organisers?
Please email conferences@adoptchange.org.au with your name, booking reference (or booking name if part of a group), and details of your request.

Will the conference be photographed or filmed?
Yes, photography and filming may take place during the conference for promotional and documentation purposes. If you do not wish to be photographed or filmed, please notify the conference organisers in advance by emailing conferences@adoptchange.org.au or speak with the team at the registration desk during the event.
Meals & Dietary Requirements

Are meals included in the conference ticket?
Yes. Morning tea, lunch, and afternoon tea are provided on Friday and Saturday. On Sunday, the program concludes before afternoon tea.

What dietary needs can be accommodated?
The venue can accommodate a range of dietary needs, including Vegetarian, Vegan, Halal, Gluten Free (Coeliac), Lactose Intolerant (Dairy Free), Nut Allergy, and Anaphylaxis. All dietary requirements must be submitted in advance prior to 31 October. Please email conferences@adoptchange.org.au with your booking details & dietary requests.

The Gala Dinner will be held on Friday 28 November, from 6:00pm to10.30pm.

Will I need to show my ticket on the day?
Yes, please bring your confirmation email or ticket (printed or digital) to check in quickly. Alternatively, you can show a photo ID or driver’s licence with your full name matching the registration.

Where do I check in and collect my name badge?
Please visit the conference registration desk on Level 3 of the Auditorium Conference Hall at Club Central Hurstville, where the conference team will assist you.

Where can I find out when and where someone is speaking?
The full program is available on the website and will be displayed on noticeboards near the registration desk.

Yes, please visit the registration desk and the team will assist you.

Yes, complimentary Wi-Fi will be available for all conference delegates throughout the venue.
